Mellara is a yoga and meditation teacher, author, and retreat guide whose work centers on embodied awareness and the quiet depth of practice.
Teaching for over two decades, she weaves together Hatha yoga, mindfulness, and meditation — supporting students in moving beyond the shape and into a more honest relationship with themselves.
She is the author of A Life Worth Living and Living In Awareness, and a regular contributor to OM Yoga & Lifestyle Magazine.
Originally from Queensland, Australia, she moved to Los Angeles at seventeen to study at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, before being drawn more deeply into the path of yoga and healing.
Now based on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Mellara offers group classes, private sessions, retreats, and online Depth Sessions that integrate yoga, meditation, and breathwork.
Her work is rooted in the understanding that practice is not about getting somewhere — but about learning how to be here, with greater awareness and steadiness in daily life.
